I have recently been selected to represent East Midlands at the Inter Regional Championships at Hetton Lyons in September. I will be competing for the East Midlands against the other eight regions of England, Scotland and Wales. Hopefully i will improve my result from last year and help the region to get on the podium again this year!!

British Championships

In June I raced at Blenheim Palace at the British Triathlon Youth Championships. We swam in the lake and then cycled and ran around the grounds of the palace. It was an amazing race and I finished 14th which I was pleased with.

Leicester Triathlon

My second race and my first win of the season was at the Leicester junior tri on the 27th may. My swim was alright as I came out third, but I was mainly pleased with my performance as I had the fastest bike and run, and both my transitions were quick too. So everything is going good!

New PB

I raced at the Leicestershire county championships at 1500m on the 12th of May. I came second in a new PB of 4.30, which I am pleased about as it is the start of the season, but I reckon I can go faster.

Training Camp

I was invited to join the British talent squad at their training camp at Welbeck Sixth Form College. My injuries from the previous weekend's crash did not prevent me from training and I'm glad it didn't as it was too good an opportunity to miss, as I learnt lots from the whole experience.

First race of the season

My first race of the season didn't start well!

It was the national duathlon championships at prestwold hall and I was feeling up for it! My first run was good enough to place me in the second pack on the bike. At one point I was 6th leading the group, chasing the lead pack of five when another rider came up on the inside where there wasn't space and smashed in to my shoulder. I crashed which was a real shame as I felt like I was able to achieve a top ten finish in a national event.
