Park Sprints 2012

60m Sprint Challenges are for everyone! Enter on the day, warm up and run!! Mixed age group races and best in each age group go through to a Grand Final at the Athletics Stadium on 29th August.
Everyone can take part on the specially marked out lanes on the park. Anyone (age 4 to 70+) can just turn up, complete an entry form, and run. Each race will be 6 people on the specially marked out 6 lane track. All runners will be told their time for the 60m distance. After the event, the best runners in each age group category (separate for male and female) will be invited to run against others from the other three Leicester parks to run at a Grand Final Challenge at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium on 29th August. Everyone should just come and have fun!

Adults (16+) £2; Children Free, Open to all ages

- 8th August - Cossington Park
- 15th August - Victoria Park
- 22nd August - Braunstone Park
Grand Final
- 29th August - Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium.
