2013 Sports Graduate Trainee Programme - Legacy Makers

Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS), in partnership with the 7 Districts of Leicestershire, Leicester City and Rutland would like to support 11 newly graduated students in a once in a life-time 12 month placement opportunity.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals to help support Local Sport Alliances deliver sport and physical activity opportunities to their communities and ensure that a lasting legacy for the 2012 Games is achieved, whilst gaining invaluable on-the-job training.

IMPACT Apprenticeships

The School Sport Apprentice will work full-time in schools to assist with the delivery of school sport and physical activity. This involves coaching during the school day, after school and possible weekends. Apprentices will study the Level 3 NVQ diploma in Sports Development.

Sport and Active Recreation Officer - Derby City Council

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Sport and Active Recreation Officer to play an integral role within our Sport & Active Recreation team. You will play a key role in delivering our long term ambition to become the most active city in the UK by implementing, communicating and negotiating the long term vision and plan for sport and active recreation in the city.

Play Workers - HInckley & Bosworth Borough Council

Grade 4, £8.72 up to £10.47 per hour

Hours: Up to 150 hours per annum (hours on an agreed basis)

1 year temporary contract with possible extension for 2 years.
