5 Hour Offer
In 2007 the 5 Hour Offer was announced by the Prime Minister and the new PESSYP (PE, Sports Strategy for Young People) strategy initiated. View our page to find out more about how Leicester-Shire & Rutland is delivering the offer.
An important element of the PESSYP Strategy is the Sport Unlimited programme which is targeted at young people who do some sport — but would do more if the right sports were offered to them.
Step into Sport is a national leadership and volunteering programme. It is a joint initiative between the Youth Sport Trust and Sport England and co-ordinated locally by Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport in conjunction with School Sports Partnerships.
GO GOLD Talented Athletes Fund
