Physical Activity and Sport sessions to help you and your family move more often.

Sport and physical activity is an important part of all our lives and keeping active can often be difficult around family life.So why not do it together?

This new and refreshed campaign week 'Active Family Week' which launches on 13th February, is a fun and active week of family friendly physical activity and sport activities designed for families to move more often and get active together.

Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS), in partnership with the local authorities, have coordinated numerous events and activities all over Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland for families to enjoy.

There are sessions for all ages and an activity to suit all interests – something for all families to enjoy! The week includes over 150 sessions including bike rides, buggy runs, kid's camps, family swims and exercise classes plus much more!

This special week of activities aims to encourage families to improve the amount of time they spend taking part in physical activity and sport as a family through a range of events and activities.
