Partners & Supporters

Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) are a multi-agency partnership committed to developing sport and physical activity throughout Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. We are one of five sub-regional County Sports Partnerships within East Midlands and one of forty nine across England.

LRS operates as a Partnership whose key members are the local authorities (LAs), School Sports Partnerships (SSPs), National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) and the NHS. Our role if also to bring together those involved in:

• Community Sport sector: including health, community safety and other cross cutting themes
• Sports sector: including voluntary, public and commercial enterprises
• Education & Skills sector: including schools, LEAs, further and higher education institutions, Connexions and Learning & Skills Councils.
