School Games Young Leader / Ambassador Application 2012
Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) are looking for a team of high quality and committed young leaders and ambassadors aged 14-19 years old to support the successful delivery of the 2012 Leicester-Shire & Rutland School Games.
Our aim is that 50% of our School Games workforce is young people, to ensure we are giving opportunities not only to our best performers, but also our best volunteers.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to access training in a variety of areas such as leadership, officiating and team management.
Opportunities within the School Games will include supporting Level 1 and Level 2 School Games Competitions across your local area, as well as supporting the Level 3 'Super Series Finals' throughout the year and the Level 3 'Championships' on 10th July 2012. Roles could include team management / support, coaching support, officiating, VIP liaison, photography, video and media reporting.
