About Active Leicester
This will enable the public to access a variety of high quality services and in turn improve skills, health and fitness. Sports Development Officers develop sport across the City with club development, community education, high quality coaching, school-club links, supporting volunteers and contributing to the health and wellbeing agenda.
Active Leicester encompasses all sports in the city. We have seven leisure centres with swimming pools and fitness suites; one climbing wall; one athletics track; one multi-use outdoor facility, one golf facility and several dedicated football facilities.
