Come along to one of our Wellbeing @Work briefings to explore the current trends in health and wellbeing across the county and their impact on our local business and economy.

Despite good news that sickness and absenteeism in the workplace has been on a steady decline since 2013, UK businesses still stand to face losses of 4.4 days per employee, per year, at a cost to the UK economy of over £29bn.

With an estimated 491,100 people in employment across Leicestershire, businesses are losing up to 2.1 working days at a cost to our local economy of £265.4m. The workplace is a key influencer on both our physical and mental health.

Come along to one of our Wellbeing @Work briefings to explore the current trends in health and wellbeing across the county and their impact on our local business and economy. We will outline our Wellbeing @Work support package, which includes a free* Workplace Health Needs Assessment (WHNA)** to support businesses to gauge the wellbeing status of their employees as well as showcasing bespoke packages to help employers improve the wellbeing of their team and reap rewards such as increased productivity and reduced absenteeism.

Healthy refreshments will be provided and the event will include some active 'net-walking' and the opportunity to make a pledge towards improving your organisations health and wellbeing.

The event is free to attend but please book your place by completing the form below to let us know that you will be attending.

Notes:

Due to funding, the Workplace Health Needs Assessment is free to most Leicestershire-based organisations, with a charge for those based in Oadby and Wigston, Leicester City, and Rutland.

The Workplace Health Needs Assessment is sourced from Public Health England and Healthy Working Futures (2017) 'Workplace Health Needs Assessment'.
