Welcome to Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport's (LRS) Funding Finder! There are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available for clubs/groups, facilities, talented individuals and coaching. Use our Funding Finder below to identify the most suitable funding schemes.

Receive our 'Clubs & Funding Newsletter' - highlighting the most recent and suitable funds available. You will need to register/login, go to your 'Dashboard', then 'Account' and 'Email and Sharing' to update which Newsletters you would like to receive.

Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to the Funding Finder. To submit a funding source, you will first need to register/login and click 'Add Fund.' All submissions will be approved by LRS prior to becoming live. LRS excludes all responsibility for the sources added by 3rd party organisations.

The Forest Society Grant scheme will fund new ways to support the health and wellbeing of residents and communities within the National Forest. It will engage new and diverse audiences, increase participation, and use local woodlands to harness the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors and connecting with nature.

The Basketball England campaign #ProjectSwish, which provides free nets for outdoor hoops across the country, has a new target and an expanded remit in 2021. With lockdown finally eased and park and playground courts accessible again, Basketball England is determined to put more nets on hoops so ballers can enjoy their basketball again.

Poundland Foundation want to help as many kids as possible to get active and enjoy sport with their friends. And the Foundation want them to have access to everything they need to make that possible, including the right kit.

The Holiday Grants programme provides grants for recreational trips for groups of children aged 13 and under in the UK who are disabled or disadvantaged. This year, given the extraordinary impact of Covid-19, we have made some temporary changes to our guidelines to provide more flexibility on the types of trip we can support.

The Queens Club Foundation Grant

This Covid recovery grant funding is being made available by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council and is being administered by the RCC.

This provides support to eligible organisations to invest in Community Facility projects of community benefit and which would not go ahead without such financial assistance.

These grants are open to town and parish councils and properly constituted voluntary and community organisations.

Football Foundation - Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund

up to £2,500

The Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund is a £14m fund that provides eligible clubs and leagues with a tapered six-year grant to help them sustain pitches already at a 'good' level and enhance pitches that are either considered 'poor' or 'basic'.
