Bowls England Coaching Bursary

Summary: Coaching Bursary Scheme to assist members of affiliated clubs who wish to obtain a Coach Bowls qualification.

About Bowls England Coaching Bursary

Any individual affiliated member of Bowls England may apply for financial assistance for up to 50 per cent of the cost of the course. Applicants must be at least 17 years old, and for Coach Bowls Level Two courses and above applicants must hold a recognised Coaching Certificate. Each application must be supported by the applicants club and the appointed administrator of the relevant County Association that is affiliated to Bowls England.

Due to expected demand funding will be limited to one member per affiliated club per year. Applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.

All applicants are encouraged to contact their County Sport Partnership (CSP) for details on additional funding that may be available to cover the cost of a Coach Bowls course, either in full or in part. Contact details for all CSPs are available on the Bowls England website.
