Welcome to Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport's (LRS) Funding Finder! There are a number of local, regional and national sources of funding available for clubs/groups, facilities, talented individuals and coaching. Use our Funding Finder below to identify the most suitable funding schemes.

Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport can provide further advice and support for your club/group to identify the most applicable source of funding and support you with the application process. Please visit the Funding pages of our website or use our Funding Support service in your Dashboard.

Receive our 'Funding & Clubs Newsletter' - highlighting the most recent and suitable funds available. You will first need to register and log in, go to your 'Dashboard' and under your Profile, select 'Clubs & Funding' in your Email Preferences.

Local, Regional and National funding sources can added to Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport's (LRS) Funding Finder. To submit a funding source, you will first need to register and log in and then click Add Fund. You should then complete the online form. All submissions will be approved by LRS prior to becoming live.

Provides grants to children and young people with a hearing impairment and to organisations who provide help to such people.

Peter Harrison Foundation - Opportunities Through Sport

Rugby Football Foundation - Helping Hand Grants

£500 to £1,500

Provides a mechanism for rugby clubs to apply for a small grant

Rutland Coach & Volunteer Fund

This funding stream focuses on developing the workforce behind the fantastic sports clubs which run in Rutland. It aims to strengthen our community sports volunteers and coaches through funding qualifications and training courses.

Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete UK Landfill Communities Fund

Local groups can apply for funding for a wide range of community and environmental projects within 7 miles of a Lafarge - Tarmac site.

North West Leicestershire Coach Education Grant

up to £100

The grant will assist in the development of local coaches, clubs and officials
enabling them to gain appropriate qualifications in their chosen sport.

UK Coaching

Funding Opportunities for Coaching in the UK

Leicestershire & Rutland Community Foundation

up to £3,000

Donor Profiles give groups looking for funding space to give brief details of activities they would like to run over the next year and for which they are looking for additional funding support.

Blaby LSA - Community Sport & Physical Activity Grant Scheme

up to £250

As part of the Blaby District Local Sports Alliance’s commitment to supporting local sport and physical activity, the Blaby Community Sport & Physical Activity Grant Scheme aims to support the development of local sport and physical activity opportunities by offering financial assistance to community-based instructors and organisations with a goal of sustaining activities.

Hedley Foundation

A charitable foundation which supports young people, the disabled and the terminally ill.

Lord's Taverners Foundation - Sports wheelchairs

Sports wheelchairs are donated to disabled young people

THE RICHARD OVERALL TRUST

The aim of the Trust is to advance the physical education of disabled young individuals and groups through the provision of grants to allow their participation in or attendance at sporting activities, or the purchase of equipment for sporting events or activities.

Julie Tullis Memorial Award

Grant to assist mountaineers to achieve their climbing or mountaineering ambitions

Cyclists Fighting Cancer

Primarily encourage exercise and activity for the child surviving cancer

Coalfields Regeneration Trust: Community Grants

£500 to £10,000

The Coalfields Community Grants programme provides funding from £500 to £10,000 to organisations who will make a positive difference in their community

BBC's Children in Need grants programme

Open to organisations working with young people who are 18 years and under and are disadvantaged

Market Harborough Charitable Fund

£250 to £2,000

In order to further support local communities in Leicestershire, Northamptonshire and Rutland, Market Harborough Building Society created its own Charitable Foundation in 1999.
