We are a national disability sports organisation looking for a dynamic part time (3.5 days a week) National Disability Sport Engagement Officer to support Cerebral Palsy Sport's Start and Stay Active programme. The role will provide insight, support and participation opportunities to people with cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities. It will also provide information to sports governing bodies, 3rd sector partners and County Sports Partnerships on the needs of people with cerebral palsy. The role will also support the organisation's communications, social media development and responses to enquiries from a range of sources; provide information to members, partners, organisations and families. This role is key for Cerebral Palsy Sport's engagement with members, the post holder will be responsible for website content, social media platforms, newsletters and news stories.
This is a fixed term post for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave with the salary starting at £20,000 pro rata on a part time post. We are based in a central location in Nottingham, East Midlands. As National Disability Sport Engagement Officer, you will need some demonstrable experience and track record of working in a sports development delivery environment and working on engagement projects and programmes. Candidates will require excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to successfully build and manage productive relationships and demonstrable insight and administration skills.
