British Triathlon is the National Governing Body for Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon in Great Britain, responsible for raising the profile and delivering medal-winning performances and helping everyone discover, enjoy and achieve in triathlon.

We are looking for a driven, diligent and inquisitive person to join our small team as a junior web developer. Reporting to the Web Development Manager and working both as part of the wider web development team and individually, you will assist in the delivery of large-scale projects across our various websites; tackle smaller bug fixes and change requests; and help with debugging and internal testing.

You will gain exposure to both front-end (HTML, CSS, Javascript) and back-end technologies, primarily in a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) development stack. As well as the invaluable on-the-job experience, you will also receive dedicated training built into your work programme.

We're looking for someone who has a genuine interest in improving their skills and furthering their web development career. You do not necessarily need to have commercial experience but should be able to demonstrate some experience with PHP and front-end languages. Whilst training to progress further will be given, having a basic background in web development is crucial.

The role will be based at the British Triathlon headquarters located at Loughborough University; however, the role may very occasionally require evening and weekend working, and associated travel.

Informal enquiries can be made to Matthew Coffey, Web Development Manager, email: matthewcoffey@britishtriathlon.org.

Please visit www.britishtriathlon.org/about-us/job-vacancies for our application form, job description and equality form.
