Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England.
We help people learn how to swim, enjoy the water, and compete in our sports of swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.
We are seeking a Regional Club Development Officer to join our team on a fixed term maternity cover basis. The role is home based in the East Midlands Region.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Regional Club Development Officer at Swim England, the National Governing Body for Swimming, Diving, Synchronised Swimming, Water Polo and Open Water.
Reporting to the Club Development Officer and Regional Chair you will be working with clubs across the region, in particular Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire and be responsible for increasing the talent pool and membership levels by ensuring effective, self-sustaining clubs across the region. You will influence groups of volunteers and club leaders to ensure they have effective plans for development, sustainability and community value.
The successful candidate must:
- Have an understanding of the sport and leisure sector
- Have experience of managing projects
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to travel across the East Midland region
