On 29th November, Fields in Trust will hold its sixth annual Awards at Lord's Cricket Ground in London, submit your nomination to celebrate its parks and green spaces.
Fields in Trust headline award is UK's Best Park, as voted by YOU! - the trust is inviting public nominations and you have just one week left to vote for your favourite!
Open to sites protected with Fields in Trust, the Getting Active awards for Team Sports, Individual Sports and Informal Activities as well as the Most Improved and Best Play Initiative awards celebrate the admirable efforts to increase sport and play.
Do you know a volunteer individual or 'Friends of' group who go the extra mile to make their local green space the best it can be? Open to community heros across the UK, nominate a Community Champion, Young Champion or Friends Group of the Year and recognise their hard work making a difference!
Or perhaps you held a Have a Field Day this summer which helped to bring the community together - nominate your event for Best Have a Field Day.
All the informaton you need to nominate is available on the Fields in Trust website - make sure you enter before the 22nd October deadline! Shortlisted nominations will be invited to the Awards Dinner and will be offered a free tour of Lord's Cricket Ground.
UK's Best Park, as voted by YOU! 2017
Do you think that your local park is the best in the country? Here's your chance to tell others; this autumn we're encouraging people to nominate their favourite green space for the UK's Best Park, as voted by YOU! Award. Nominations are now open until 5pm on Friday 13th October.
Visit the Fields in Trust website, simply name the park, identify what makes it so special and attach a picture of it in all its glory. Tell others why your place is so special on social media using #LoveYourLocalPark.
Nomination forms are on trust's website and are easy to complete.
