Leicester-Shire and Rutland Sport are seeking clubs, groups and organisations who have the necessary skills and expertise to effectively reduce inactivity within the 14-19 age range.
Funding is available to support projects that provide positive experiences for young people and that encourage, enable and support young people to develop long term, sustainable sport and physical activity habits in line with the Chief Medical Offices Physical Activity guidelines.
We are looking for projects (non-curriculum) that are designed with the 'customer' in mind and therefore an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the needs, behaviours, motivations and barriers to participation of your target group is critical.
We are particularly interested in projects that are designed to increase activity levels in underrepresented populations including females, young people with disabilities, and lower socioeconomic groups.
If you are interested in this opportunity and have a project in mind, please complete the attached expression of interest form and a member of the team will contact you to discuss your project further.
The closing date for expressions of interest is Sunday 19th August with projects due to start by 30th September 2018.
To complete the form you must be logged in to the website; this enables you to complete a question, save it and return at a later date to complete it. Please note to ensure your information is saved, you must click the 'Next' button at the bottom of the form page.
