The Active Lives Children and Young People's (CYP) survey is a school-based survey measuring participation in sport and physical activity inside and outside of school as well as attitudes towards sport and physical activity among CYP in school years 1-11 (aged 5 to 16 years) across England. It provides estimates at a national and local level.
The data presented within the national report includes information about levels and types of activity, swimming proficiency, volunteering within sport and physical activity as well as mental wellbeing and individual and social development data, broken down by key demographics.
The report contains links to downloadable data tables that include national and local level data.
