What is Wakeboarding?

Wakeboarding is a surface water sport which involves riding a wakeboard over the surface of a body of water.

It was developed from a combination of water skiing, snowboarding and surfing techniques. There are two forms of wakeboarding: Boat Wakeboard and Cable Wakeboard.

Involvement

British Water Ski and Wakeboardng has a network of affiliated club and accredited sites across the UK, and work with clubs and sites to support and improve the sport in this country. To find your nearest club visit their website and use the 'Club Finder' tool. Once you have selected a club you will be able to see the facilities that the club has and relevant contact details.
